Our Tools

We have developed our own analytics tools based on scrapping different web sites to gather all public available information that is stored in our systems and later is transformed in appropiate metrics.

We have information for main tournaments all over the world, from NBA or NCAA to continental competitions—Euroleague, Eurocup—, FIBA national leagues—ACB, LEGA, BBL, LNB ProA, ABA, VTB...—or National Teams tournaments.

All this information allow us to build unique metrics to analyze not only isolated player performance, but also combination of different number of players on court, and apply advanced filters to break down player production. Also we can take deeper mathematical analysis using regression methods that help to eliminate other players effect over analyzed players.

All this research from our own tools is combined with video analysis and other available third-party commercial tools like Synergy or InStat. The use of these commercial tools for different teams and tournaments have lead us to an expertise and deep knowledge of all its potential. This may be more important that what it seems because every tool has its own definition for playtypes or same glossary may have different meaning like what it's repressented by the term “possesion”. It's important to have very clear understanding of what it's being represented in one metric to analyze the impact of the expressed value.
